Macro eye series

In 2012 I started a series of eye close-ups using a macro lens, often with a ringflash for a distinct look.

I was always on the lookout for the brightest, most speckled or the most multi-coloured eyes. The subjects were used for the 85mm and eye series at the same time.

I printed my favourites portrait and eye photos for my Eye Catching 2014 exhibition.
